In the manufacturing of new energy vehicles, the battery pack production line is the core link of lithium battery system integration. How to transform the scattered battery cells into battery modules with consistent performance, safety and reliability through high-precision automated assembly, and finally form high-quality battery packs, is the core of the whole line efficiency and assembly quality.

In the process of bolt assembly, from automatic screw delivery to tightening, from assembly consistency to tightening data monitoring, each link needs to be guaranteed by automated assembly equipment and tightening process to ensure the assembly quality and consistency, so as to ensure the cycle life and safety of the battery pack.

In the process of PACK cover assembly, a large number of M5x20 hexagonal flange with flat washers are usually used. Due to dense distribution, poor hole consistency and complex assembly conditions, the bolts are prone to tightening failure due to "insufficient residual torque", which in turn affects the sealing and reliability of the battery pack.

Solution

Screw feeding process - Lower Screw Jamming Rate and more reliable screw feeding

The 2L step feeder is suitable for M3~M10 screws. The standard screw jam rate is as low as 0.005%, and the screw feeding is stable and efficient.

The swivel arm blowing and vacuum module is specially designed for small aspect ratio screws to reduce the risk of nozzle jamming. At the same time, the swing arm can also add a screw storage structure to improve the screw feeding beat.

The modular design of the module supports quick maintenance. The Suction Tube and the nozzle can be replaced without disassembling the nozzle or tools. The operation is flexible and convenient.

The lightweight series of modules has a lower dead weight and is suitable for 5Kg collaborative robots, which is light and flexible.
